Nutrition
Our menus have been devised by a nutritionist and aim to provide fresh balanced meals to all children at each meal or snack time.
All fruit and vegetables used are organic and all our meat is free range.
Fresh water is available to the children at all times and milk is provided throughout the day.
Breakfast is served until 9.00am, children are offered a variety of cereals, toast and fruit served with hot or cold milk.
Mid morning and mid afternoon snack consists of various fruits and biscuits.
Lunch is a home cooked meal prepared on site by our nursery cook, this is always a balanced hot meal followed by a healthy pudding. Copies of our four week menus and recipes are available at the nursery and in our parents area. A light tea is provided and includes a variety of choices including homemade soups, sandwiches wraps and omlettes.
All children are offered at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. All allergies and dietary requirements are catered for.
Children are encouraged to sit together and use their knives and forks correctly. They all wash their hands before and after each meal and the practitioners are sat with children at the table encouraging them to eat.

Fresh water is available to the children at all times and no squash is served. Children are encouraged to sit together and use their knives and forks correctly. They all wash their hands before and after each meal and the staff sit with them at the table encouraging them to eat. After lunch children brush their teeth. We ask that you provide a toothbrush and toothpaste to keep at nursery.
