Nursery facilities
Our opening hours are weekdays 7:30am-6:30pm and parents/guardians are welcome to drop off or collect between these times whenever they like, completely free of any further fees or charges. We are closed for Bank Holidays and during Christmas week.
Our fees are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and drinks.
Each floor is individually appointed to reflect the particular requirements of each age group from three months to five years old.Children are moved between rooms based on individual development rather than age.
The nursery is divided into four main age groups:
Preschool Room
A large bright and spacious area the pre-school room allows children to develop their numeracy and literacy skills with specific areas to facilitate this. The room benefits from a creative area for messy play, a home corner, a reading corner, a computer area and a free play area to allow them to participate in a well-structured day which helps prepare them for primary school. In addition it has its own dedicated toilets and sinks to help encourage independence. We operate a 1:8 ratio in the Pre-school room.
Tweenie/Toddler Room
The tweenie and toddler area occupies the entire first floor of the building. With sensory and creative area’s to develop and stimulate the toddlers inquisitive minds plus a messy play area.We operate a 1:4 ratio in the Toddler Room.
Tweenies (from approximately 16 months to 2 years) enjoy activities structured around their changing interests. As with the Baby Room we operate a 1:3 ratio in the Tweenie Room.
Baby Room
Non mobile babies (3 months to approximately 16 months) benefit from a bright and airy room. Staff cater for their individual requirements. We provide a dedicated sleep room where babies are supplied with their own bedding with the temperature constantly monitored to ensure babies are comfortable at all times. Each baby is encouraged to develop through creative and sensory activities. We operate a 1:3 ratio in the Baby Room.
Outside Play Area
Our well equipped, fully enclosed outdoor play area allows children’s learning to continue outside, and with parents permission all children are taken on regular outings, including trips to the local park and library.
Car Park
A drop off and pick up area helps to ensure that every visit to the nursery is welcoming and convenient for both your child and you.
